We are thrilled to announce Aaron Jenkins, General Manager for Energy & Carbon Services, has accepted the offer of CEO at Ecovantage, effective 1 March 2025.
Since its inception almost 20 years ago, Bruce Easton has been not only the CEO of Ecovantage, but an activist in our industry and driving force on many boards. While he may be stepping back into a part time Executive Chair role, he isn’t going anywhere and will continue to contribute not only on the board, but also as Head of Future Business. Bruce remains majority shareholder and is delighted with the outcome of the succession planning which has been underway for well over a year. He is excited with the prospect of spending more time at the weekender and may even take up golf again!
Aaron has been in various management roles in his four years at Ecovantage and has certainly proven his capability in each. He built his team of Account Managers, LGC specialists and M&V experts to the extent that they are a benchmark in the industry. Prior to Ecovantage, Aaron built a very successful electrical contracting business from the ground up, before selling it to move to QLD with his young family. His knowledge of the various energy schemes has grown to a point that he can support the business in everything from an Air Con REP in SA, a Solar VEEC in Victoria, QLD LGC’s and even bio energy claims for ACCU’s. Important attributes when leading a company like Ecovantage.
People working with Ecovantage may have noticed the current management team taking greater control over recent times proving that the handover should be seamless. While Bruce will take on the Chair, current incumbent David De Campo will continue as a Director providing guidance and continuity. Aaron will be well supported by our COO, Tania Oldaker and the rest of the experienced team of managers and specialists.
Bruce remarked that he has no doubt that Aaron’s energy, determination and focus will see Ecovantage continue to be such a positive force in the energy efficiency industry for many years to come.
Everyone at Ecovantage would like to say a huge thank you to Bruce for building Ecovantage to where it is today, and we look forward to Aaron taking over and continuing the essential work we do on this immensely important energy transition. We are very proud as a company to have been involved in the delivery of over 10 million tonnes of carbon abatement across four states within all energy schemes, and are well on our way to double that by 2030.
