Ecovantage has partnered with the Insulation Installation Assurance Authority to provide quality assurance to help get insulation right the first time.
Ecovantage is proud to be the first official business conducting independent reviews of insulation installations for the Insulation Installation Assurance Authority (IIAA). The IIAA is not-for-profit organisation setting the highest installation standards in Australian residential insulation. They seek to de-risk insulation installations in Australian homes by implementing a comprehensive quality assurance framework, which includes third-party assessment, accreditation and surveillance of fit-for-purpose products, installers and installations.
The IIAA is a new face in the industry within Australia but has strong ties to the Installation Assurance Authority UK (IAA), where their framework has been honed and perfected over 25 years. The IAA has played a pivotal role in driving energy initiatives resulting in more sustainable and environmentally friendly homes in the UK, and we’re sure the IIAA will have the same impact within Australia.
At Ecovantage we support IIAA’s belief that insulation installed correctly can make a significant contribution to household energy savings and help Australia meet its 2050 net-zero emissions target. Insulation has become an underserved area in the energy-efficiency landscape in many areas of Australia, and we are excited to see IIAA create more awareness of the value of insulation and ensure Australians have access to verified products and trained installers.
With a proven record of compliance work for insulation projects, in particular within the strict requirements of the South Australian Retailer Energy Productivity Scheme (REPS) program, Ecovantage is proud to be the first to partner with IIAA to help implement the highest standards of insulation installation compliance and auditing.
